Our Reviews

Bryant was exactly what we as a couple were looking for. His direct and deeply introspective approach can be difficult, perhaps uncomfortable, but was highly rewarding. Bryant was candid with his feedback and challenged us to face issues we’d been avoiding or simply blind to. His counsel was pragmatic, grounded in reality, and focused on the two of us understanding ourselves and each other. We would absolutely recommend him to any couple at any stage looking for insights for long term success.

At Live Together, Bryant understands that relationships can be difficult. Fear, doubt, conflict, insecurities, and unforgiveness, for example, can impede our relationship with God and with others. Bryant’s desire is to help you overcome these obstacles so that you can better live together. He believes this is best achieved through a rich environment. Working with others can often give us a different perspective of our personal situations, helping us to grow in faith.

I was asked to participate in a once a week, hour long, group counseling session that would extend for 4-weeks with Bryant. At first, I was hesitant as I have never done any counseling let alone in a group format. Some of my initial hesitations were, “Would I be a good fit with the other group members?” or “what if I ugly cry in front of everyone”.

Once the process got going, I soon learned that everyone else in the group had similar apprehensions which instantly glued us together in trust and appreciation. When others shared, I was able to see or hear bits of things I could recognize within my own dynamic, which in turn has helped me to recognize areas of growth within myself.

Overall, I really enjoyed our group counseling sessions. The other group members were supportive and trustworthy. Bryant is a fantastic listener and I appreciated his questions that helped draw me out. He was patient yet continued to help encourage us in our process and I appreciated that.

A friend of mine asked me to join an online group with Bryant Casteel. While I don’t know her super well, I know she is an amazing woman with a heart for Jesus. I was a bit apprehensive (I tend to be introverted), but I’m trying to say “no” less to my friends, and it was only for four weeks. I also trust my friend, so I decided to commit. I had never met the other gal in the group...but now adore her! We used the app, ZOOM, which was super easy to download and utilize. All four of us were on the screen at a time, and Bryant could share documents/images as well. Bryant was also very flexible to accommodate our schedules.

We were all a bit nervous for the first session, but it only took a few minutes in for me to realize how well trained and knowledgeable Bryant was. I have been to a couple other counselors, and this was nothing like those experiences. Bryant listened and was very in tune to our individual needs, which then led him to some guiding questions and valuable content. His methods, strategies, and interventions were well thought out, carefully planned and very comprehensive...clearly showing his extensive training and wisdom. To say I was impressed would be an understatement.

While it was only four weeks (which I would love to do longer), I think we were all thankful for the deep reflective thinking we were able to do and the assured impact it will make on our future. (We dove into genograms.) While #blessed may be a bit overused and has lost a bit of its power, I can honestly say this group was a blessing to me...and my family for generations to come. With sincere thanks to Bryant, may God bless you!
